Mandarin Oriental Honours Year of the Sheep — Celebration Retreat
The Year of the Sheep at Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong promises to be the start of an exciting and memorable period as the Lunar Chinese New Year is welcomed with a series of festive offerings.
Chinese New Year festivities will begin on 19 February 2015 with a traditional lion dance and an eye-dotting ceremony at the lobby which will later move through the hotel. The God of Wealth will also visit all of the hotel’s restaurants, sharing lucky Lai See packets as he passes. On 20 February, an amazing fireworks display will highlight the Chinese New Year celebrations over Victoria Harbour, and there will be no better place to watch it than from one of Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong’s Harbour Rooms and Suites, or from any of the hotel’s outstanding restaurants.
To celebrate the New Year, Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong will offer guests, whether they choose a city getaway or a family reunion, the Celebration Retreat package. Located in the heart of Hong Kong, Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong offers luxurious rooms and suites overlooking either Victoria Harbour or the city’s skyline, an array of outstanding restaurants to choose from—three of which boast Michelin stars—and luxurious spa facilities. The Celebration Retreat package includes:
- In-room breakfast or breakfast at either the Clipper Lounge or Café Causette
- A welcome bottle of Champagne
- Welcome chocolates
- HKD500 credit to use at the hotel’s award-winning restaurants, The Mandarin Spa, or The Mandarin Barber during the stay
- Upgrade upon arrival (room to room and suite to suite)
- Late check-out at 2pm
