Favourite Hobby: Travel with my family, as an opportunity to discover wonderfully new things, and an excellent way to spend precious and memorable moments with my two kids to explore the world together while they grow up. Food, culture, the whole experience.

Favourite Hong Kong: I like Hong Kong’s diversity of things to do and its super convenience. I love finding a really “hidden gem” neighbourhood local food place and recommend to my guests about it.

My recommendation: As one of Hong Kong’s earliest neighbourhoods, Wanchai has seen tremendous transformation. It’s now a fascinating mix of historical and trendy spots. To best experience it, explore Queen’s Road East and its many side streets. Visit the Blue House, the Pak Tai Temple and Hung Shing Temple, and the Pawn Restaurant, which is a preserved building at the J Senses- a redevelopment landmark. Also Lee Tung Avenue, another redevelopment, as well as the many trendy bars and restaurants around there. Further down, you can visit Toy Street on Tai Yuen Street.

Bonus Tips:

1. Visit the Star Ferry Pier just a couple of minutes from the hotel. It offers a panoramic view of Victoria Harbour and you can take the ferry to Tsim Sha Tsui

2. Once in Tsim Sha Tsui, walk down to Jordan and Yau Ma Tie and check out Bird Street and Jade Market. My favourite won ton noodle place, Mak Man Kee Noodle Shop (G/F, 51 Parkes Place, Yau Ma Tei), is there.
