About Me
I entered the hotel industry as a bell attendant at the Harbour Plaza Hotel in Whampoa. After six years, I joined the newly opened Hotel Icon, which is a teaching hotel, wanting to learn more about the hotel business. I later moved to Hotel Sav as Assistant Chief Concierge. That’s when I became a member of the Golden Keys Society, which was a proud moment for me. I also then worked at the Empire Hotel in Wan Chai, my first position as a Chief Concierge, before I came over here to Nina Hotel in Causeway Bay.
Favourite Hong Kong activity :
I love to eat local food at the cha chaang tengs and local cafes. I love recommending local food outlets to our guests, like this one here in Tai Hang, located inside a tin roofed shack, no less!
What I love about Hong Kong :
Shopping is so convenient and still a top attraction. For relaxation, I like to visit one of the outlying islands.
Tai Kwun, which was redeveloped from the former Central Police Station and Victoria Prison, is now an arts and heritage centre and well worth visiting. Check out the steps at Lyndhurst Terrace and the Mid-levels Escalator on the way there. There is such contrast between the skyscrapers of Central and the historic buildings and streets just a stone’s throw away.
