Boasting a fast and furious pace, Hong Kong is celebrating all things cycling with the inaugural Sun Hung Kai Properties Hong Kong Cyclothon from 10-11 October, the city’s first-ever massive cycling event. Cyclists from all around the world, professional and amateur, will deliver their best efforts amid ground-shaking cheers of the spectators along the unique race tracks covering some of the most iconic landmarks in the territory. At the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Piazza in Tsim Sha Tsui, a cycling-theme carnival will offer a variety of performances and activities for all ages, spicing up the Cyclothon with a festive vibe. Whether you are a fan of cycling or not, this is an occasion not to be missed!

Thrilling Races
The two days of the Cyclothon feature nine categories of races and rides with both professional and amateur cyclists competing for the coveted prizes on offer. Among them, the International Criterium Race will showcase the amazing skills and athleticism of some of the world's best cyclists on a circuit in the heart of town (East Tsim Sha Tsui), while local cycling enthusiasts will race on a scenic route covering Tsing Ma Bridge, open for the very first time for a cycling event, and the International Commerce Centre, the tallest skyscraper in Hong Kong, on the 35km Challenge Ride and 35km Team Challenge Ride. There will be also Kids & Youth and Family Fun Rides for those looking to experience the fun of biking with their loved ones. With such high-calibre races and heartwarming family activities, the Cyclothon will surely be a highlight of this year's event calendar.
