Mid-Autumn Festival
This ancient Chinese festival traces its roots back to a time when farmers rejoiced in bountiful harvests. Every year people purchase millions of mooncakes to celebrate the festival. The main celebration falls on the full moon, but the city will be holding cultural events for days. The grandest of these are the Tai Hang Fire Dragon Dances and Lantern Carnivals at Victoria Park.
