Hong Kong Sinfonietta: Hong Kong International Conducting Competition

Here’s a great opportunity to see some up-and-coming music conductors in action. The first Hong Kong Conducting Competition includes 18 outstanding candidates who will compete in three rounds conducting different famous symphonies. An international jury comprising renowned conductors including Yip Wing-sie, Christoph Poppen, Jorma Panula and Chien Wen-pin as well as other music professionals will select the winners.
