Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra: Listening to Nature

Resident Conductor Chew Hee Chiat will be your guide to the wondrous realm of nature, including wind, thunder, rain and snow. To capture the real sounds of nature, the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra has commissioned renowned Malaysian composer Yii Kah-hoe to create a new piece of work that reproduces these sounds. He and his production team went into the rainforest and roamed the countryside to make on-site recordings for the audience to hear an amazing dialogue between electronic sounds and nature at the concert.
