Great Outdoors Hong Kong 2020-2021
This autumn and winter, be part of the Great Outdoors Hong Kong campaign and explore all the stunning and diverse natural beauty the city has to offer! Organised by the Hong Kong Tourism Board, the campaign, themed ‘A Sense of Place’,
showcases 10 recommended hiking trails that are introduced by five local personalities and expressed from the perspective of the five senses; Sight, Hearing, Taste, Smell and Touch. The trails have been chosen to suit beginner to advanced hikers and are great for family, group and solo excursions.
The campaign also features a cycling trail that allows visitors to explore the local heritage culture along new towns and old villages between Yuen Long and Tuen Mun in the New Territories. As autumn/winter is peak trail running season, the campaign also highlights several high- profile events such as Oxfam Trailwalker Hong Kong as well as other local trail running races.
