Kowloon Refinitiv RugbyFest 2019
For fun and sheer love of the game, there is probably no better social rugby tournament in the world than the Kowloon RugbyFest, taking place this year on the Wednesday of Hong Kong Sevens Rugby Week, 3 April. Since its inception in 2001 and first competition in March 2002, the RugbyFest has grown in size and popularity to become an integral part of the Hong Kong annual rugby frenzy. Featuring teams from around the world, the RugbyFest hosts men’s and ladies’ competitions, with pool matches played throughout the day, culminating in the finals from 5pm.
The day is capped by the raucous ‘An Evening with Kowloon’ – the annual post-tournament dinner at City Hall, drawing hundreds of guests – players, sponsors and rugby legends.
