Large‐scale harbor front LED Christmas lighting on the façades of Tsim Sha Tsui Centre and Empire Centre adds a shimmering touch to the festive season

Enjoying Christmas lighting in Tsim Sha Tsui East is a tradition for many in Hong Kong and even tourists. Every year starting from November, buildings in the area begin to switch on their exterior light decorations, signaling the arrival of the cozy holiday season. This year, the multi‐media panel on the façades of Tsim Sha Tsui Centre and Empire Centre is making a triumphant comeback with a new theme.

The over 4,000‐mpanel, covered by 82,000 colour‐changing LED bulbs, will present a series of animations in diverse artistic styles. The viewers will be invited on a magical visual journey embarking in outer space, through a psychedelic kaleidoscope, into a whimsical world of tantalizing blobs and a fantastic room of illusion. It is hoped that the colourful, vibrant and imaginative visuals, complemented by the city’s ever‐gorgeous harbour views, will inspire the audience to hold onto the moment and find joy and peace. Echoing the festivities are hanging light decorations on Mody Road, which, together with the surrounding neon lights, make for an ideal spot for couples to capture precious memories.

Indulge into the festive atmosphere by walking along Mody Road and Salisbury Road at harbour side, eateries can also find the perfect place to satisfy their Christmas cravings. Alfresco Lane offers a unique outdoor dining experience where you can enjoy the season breeze and spectacular view of skyscrapers covered with enchanting lights. Make your reservation early and get the best seats for family and friends gathering during festive season.
