Korean-style BBQ Buffet at L’Eau Restaurant

L’Eau Restaurant, the poolside outlet at the Regal Riverside Hotel, is offering a sumptuous BBQ dinner buffet this summer featuring a variety of Korean-style BBQ items, fresh seafood and sashimi, select regional and international hot dishes, and a large selection of yummy desserts and fruits.

As one of the hotel’s F&B mainstays, L’Eau Restaurant is well-known to residents of Sha Tin. The restaurant was designed for buffet and carries its mission off with aplomb. The spacious and airy restaurant overlooks the hotel’s swimming pool; its décor is contemporary, light and clean, with several wellplaced servingstations that anchor the dining space. The pool’s outdoor patio houses the grills for the barbeque.

For this summer buffet, the featured grilled items include Korean-style marinated meats such as pork belly, chicken breast and Angus beef ribs, wagyu beef with red wine sauce, mussels, raw oysters, selected fish items, crab claws, rack of lamb, goose liver, corn, mushroom, and others.

The cold buffet items are equally impressive, highlighted by large trays of cold boiled shrimp, whelk, crayfish, sundry sashimi and sushi items. Hot dishes include curries, Malay satays, lasak, as well as crispy roast duck, and more.

Be sure to save plenty of room for desserts though, which can be a meal in themselves. Featured items include a chocolate fondue fountain for dipping, an array of tarts, Korean-style strawberry mousse cake, dark truffle chocolate servings, puddings, macaroons, and various flavours of Movenpick ice cream in serving-size cups.

The price for the buffet is reasonable and certainly value for money. For the weekday dinner buffet, the price is from $538 up per adult, $388 up per senior and $288 up per child. L’Eau also serves lunch buffets, priced at $318 up per adult and $238 up and $208 up per senior and child respectively. Better yet, the restaurant is promoting a special offer of 40% off for the first 50 guests each day for the dinner buffet.

If you are in the mood to indulge and gorge yourself with a hearty and sumptuous meal that fills all your palate, the buffet at L’Eau is an excellent choice. Give it a try and book early.
