Helen Kaminski Pop-up Store Opens in Pacific Place

Helen Kaminski is turning heads in Hong Kong with the much anticipated opening of its pop-up store in Pacific Place.

Helen Kaminski’s Design Team work closely with skilled artisans in Sri Lanka and Madagascar to hand craft each individual and unique piece. The company have established a dedicated workshop in a Sri Lankan village that was badly affected by the 2004 Tsunami. Today, the workshop employs over 750 artisans working on the Helen Kaminski brands.

Since launching in Australia in 1983, Helen Kaminski has established markets in top tier department stores and selected high-end boutiques in the US, Europe and in Asia, specifically in Japan, Korea and Taiwan. After an official launch in Singapore earlier this year, the brand has now set its sights on Hong Kong with the launch of its first new concept pop-up in the region.

For the first time from November 2014, Hong Kong’s fashion elite/ style-savvy consumers will have a chance to experience a wide selection of distinctively chic and innovatively functional hand crafted headwear and handbags. Both the women’s collection, Helen Kaminski, and the men’s line, Kaminski XY are available at the Pacific Place Level 2 Pop-Up store.

In Pacific Place, the pop up showcases a curated selection of Helen Kaminski and Kaminski XY’s AW14 and SS15 Resort collections.

Inspired by the ‘Noir’ theme, AW 14 presents dramatic fashion statements and colour palettes influenced by the golden age of film noir. Stylishly incorporating minimalist chic and neutral tones in luxurious textures and natural materials such as cashmere and fur-felt, the range presents a cool yet warm front for the winter season.

For those with tropical holidays on their mind, the SS15 Resort collection is inspired by ‘Beyond’, blending traditional artisanal techniques and cutting edge contemporary styling with visions of remote pacific islands, the purity of minimalist architecture and the free spirit of global nomads.
