Konzepp’s New Focus and Store Launched at K11

Hong Kong’s creative lifestyle platform Konzepp not only celebrated its latest opening “Pop Up” location on February 12, at the K11 ‘Art Mall’ in Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong, but the collaborative space also unveiled the brand’s new initiative. To celebrate the launch, Konzepp hosted a carnival-themed opening party, from 5-9pm.

Konzepp is a creative, collaborative, concept space and store bringing together multi-disciplinary design with a focus on bringing in original, exclusive designs in the areas of fashion, accessories and lifestyle products. Konzepp is now much more than a multi-brand store and platform, it is now and most importantly, a branding powerhouse focused on promoting brands to the next level. Hence Konzepp will place the collaborative element of its brand mission at the heart of the opening party by working with almost 20 brands, designers, production houses, creative talents, foodies, and restaurant to creatively provide an experience unprecedented in other traditional brand events.

For the launch event the store was adorned with carnival theme decorations, hosted playful games such as hopscotch and Wheel of Fortune, featured popcorn and cotton candy machines and a helium gas tank station for making balloons, and Konzepp store assistants wore costumes such as clowns and circus performers. The store was filled with brightly-coloured booths dedicated to each of Konzepp’s partners.

Guests were invited to play the Wheel of Fortune Konzepp which had prizes such as limited edition products and partner prizes, shots of vodka, a slap in the face or even a kiss from Willie Chan!

There was also a kostume kontest and if any guest decided to wear a garment (tops only, keep it simple) from the shop, if they won, they took the piece home! The loudest cheers and roars determined the winner! “So be somebody Krazy! It doesn't have to be Halloween to get into your favorite costume! Get away from reality and enter a world of karnival fun! No costume? Doesn't matter! We have hair and make up artist and an inspiration board for guests to chose a make over right on spot!”

Guests in attendance included celebrities, fashion and food bloggers and selected media. Invitees enjoyed a range of canapés and cocktails while listening to music by DJ Allan Ho of High Tech Orchestra.
