For its 70th anniversary, DELSEY has chosen Paris for the launch of its first Pop-Up Store, an elegant setting for its birthday celebrations. The Paris retail experience, which is open from 21 May to 19 June, marks the highpoint of a special year, punctuated by events and innovative launches that recognise the brand’s importance.
The House of DELSEY was born in 1946 from the collaboration between a Parisian company founded by Emile Delahaye and the Seynhaeve brothers. At that time DELSEY produced leather cases for cameras and photographic equipment. The brand took off in the world of travel design in 1970 with "DELSEY Airstyle", the very first line of hard-shelled luggage, and with the invention of Trolley System.
Over the years, major changes have transformed all modes of travel. The House of DELSEY was able to adapt and renew its brand by offering its customers ever more functional, lightweight innovation.
Cross-Generational Luggage and Playful Design
DELSEY asserts its appeal across generations, with its luggage maintaining a loyal following whilst gaining popularity with a new generation of travelers.
The iconic best seller, the HELIUM AIR 2 has been reinterpreted to mark the start of DELSEY’sanniversary year – twelve months rich in limited edition releases. Adorned in tie and dye, with an exclusive 70’s style lining, HELIUM AIR 2 will be available in five sizes : Cabin Slim 55 cm , 55 cm Cabin , 64 cm, 70 cm and 76 cm; and in three colors: grey, purple and light blue.
