Choir lovers from all over are expected to descend onto Hong Kong this July for a week-long celebration of world-class performances, competitions, masterclasses, workshops and cultural exchanges. Aptly titled “Love Singing”, the 7th World Youth & Children's Choir Festival - Hong Kong (11-18 July), is easily one of Asia's most anticipated global events of its kind, providing a high-profile platform for choirs, conductors, teachers and students to enjoy a week of great music and learning.
Founded by Professor Leon Shiu-wai Tong in 2006, who remains the event's Artistic Director, the festival is organised by the World Youth and Children Choral Artists Association and Hong Kong Treble Choirs' Association. Several top-notch choir performances headline the festival, with public attendance welcomed.
The King’s Singers Concert
This world-renowned British a cappella choir group from Cambridge will perform two concerts in celebration of its 50th birthday. This legendery group will be sure to tuck the heartstrings and stir the joyous spirit of their audiences. See opposite page for details.

A Concert Dedicated to Ng Cheuk - yin’s Choral Works
The Hong Kong Treble Choir plus some of the city’s top choirs gather to celebrate the works of renowned Hong Kong composer Ng Cheuk-in, who will also lead the choirs in the grand finale.
