OffGrid – Turn On Airplane Mode
Hong Kong's distinguished lifestyle event production group, Hybrid will launch the first edition of OffGrid, a 2 day 1 night camping experience in a 100% digital-free environment. The event will take place on 27-28 Sep (Mon-Sun) during the Mid Autumn Festival Long Week at Palm Beach, Lantau Island.
Most people spend the majority of their waking life living through computers and smartphones. This has a significant effect on ones’ brain, health and emotional status. The concept is to provide an opportunity to leave digital gadgets behind, gain new perspectives and re-emerge with fresh inspiration and connection to ’oneself’.
A life-changing experience at OffGrid offers attendees an opportunity to enter a detox environment and take a break from their normal busy routines. A series of activities are organized to keep you engaged without the use of gadgets. The program includes, Circuit Training by S.C.A.A. Gym, Muay Thai & Thai Boxing SPARKS Fitness, Yoga Sessions by Yoga Bam Bam, Dance Classes by InPuls Productions, and Meditation by Balance Health.
Apart from physical needs, the camp take care of motional wellness and daily nutritional as well. Pololi will provide brunch on the first day, followed by a dinner reception prepared by Healthy Chicken, and finally breakfast by Super Food Lab. Spice Box Organics will also be providing organic Indian basil tea during the program.
