Jumeirah Group celebrates success at Business Traveller Asia Pacific Awards

Jumeirah Group, the Dubai-based luxury hotel company and a member of Dubai Holding, has won ‘Best Business Hotel Brand in Middle East/Africa’ at the Business Traveller Asia Pacific Awards held in Hong Kong.

Robert Swade, Jumeirah Group Chief Operating Officer, said: “We are delighted to have been voted Best Business Hotel Brand in the Middle East/Africa for the third consecutive year. This confirms Jumeirah’s position as one of the region’s leading luxury business hotel brands and is a credit to both our hotel leadership and our colleagues around the world, who consistently deliver such exceptional service to our guests.”

The awards recognise and celebrate the achievements and high standards set by the region’s leading hotels, airports and airlines. The accolades are independent and based on votes received from the magazine’s readers. The awards cover 57 categories and all winners feature on the Business Traveller Asia Pacific website and will be published in the October edition of the magazine.

The award from Business Traveller Asia Pacific follows another successful weekend in Europe, where Jumeirah won four accolades at the World Travel Awards 2015 held in Italy: Europe's Leading Hotel & Spa: Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa, Spain; Europe's Leading Hotel Residences: Grosvenor House Apartments by Jumeirah Living, England; England's Leading Hotel Residences: Grosvenor House Apartments by Jumeirah Living and Germany's Leading Hotel: Jumeirah Frankfurt.

Jumeirah’s ambitious expansion plans to grow its portfolio of luxury hotels and resorts worldwide are well under way, with 25 new developments in the pipeline. Among these are eight new hotels planned in China; others are currently under development in India, Indonesia, Jordan, Malaysia, Mauritius, Oman, Russia and the United Arab Emirates.
