The Lobby Lounge at Kerry Hotel Hong Kong are proud to introduce a new afternoon tea collaboration with French skincare brand Darphin. Inspiration was drawn from Darphin’s new product; 8-Flower Golden Nectar, which contains a blend of 8 flowers sourced from around the world and 24-carat gold flakes, which is emulated in the decadent sweet and savoury delights and delicate presentation. To celebrate the collaboration, guests will receive an exclusive Darphin gift set containing deluxe samples of Darphin’s hero products including Intral Redness Relief Soothing Serum, Aromatic Cleansing Balm with Rosewood, and new 8-Flower Golden Nectar, available while stocks last.

With an impeccable set of sweet and savoury delights to greet each guest on arrival, Executive Chef Matthew Woolford and the team have collaborated with Darphin to ensure each item complements the new 8-Flower Golden Nectar product. With a touch of gold adorning the tea, guests are greeted with a Jasmine Tea Smoked Salmon Tartare with Panna Cotta, Fennel Pollen and Apple and Dill amuse bouche paired with our Golden Nectar Elixir. Other savoury items include a Burrata Mouse, Caramelised Citrus Jus, Peach & Datterini Tomato Panzanella, a Confit Duck Croquette with Pistachio and Rosewater Gel and a Coronation Crab with Sea Buckthorn, Almond and Radovan Brioche.

Meanwhile, Executive Pastry Chef Julien Gourmelon has created a range of desserts inspired by the floral essence and touch of gold from the 8-Flower Golden Nectar. Dishes include an Inspired Ispahan Dome with Rose, Lychee and Raspberry, a Grand Cru Chocolate Mousse with Jasmine Scented Pear Jelly, Apricot and Lavender with Fromage Blanc and The Kerry Fraisier with Strawberry, Almond Genoise and Kirsch. To complement this, warm baked scones are served with clotted cream, Berry and Rose and Lemon and Jasmine jam and a Chocolate and Hazelnut spread.
